The permanence which underlies most people's new years resolutions is usually a non-factor. In a 2007 study at the University of Bristol involving 3,000 people, 88% of those who set New Year resolutions failed despite the fact that 52% of the study's participants were confident of success at the beginning. At Sowingo.com, we have a list of ongoing goals which will carry over from 2013 into 2014 and well into the future. These goals are not transient. They are not 'New Years resolutions'. The upshot of the latter set of goals can potentially be a novel landscape which will have a the ability to change the way dental practices are managed and operated on a day to day basis.
