Over the last year we have introduced many new features to our software, with the aim of helping dental offices better manage their supplies. One of these features is Reports.
Reports add another dimension to inventory management. It allows your practice to view your inventory by suppliers and products. From the supplier tab you can view stats on:
- Total spent>Average spent per month
- Supplier with greatest spend
- The supplier with most orders
- Total shipping cost
From the product view you can drill down by product (e.g. 0.9% Sodium Chloride Irrigation Pouches) and view stats on:
- Average use
- Reorder data
- Stock out data

The importance of these features is that it puts you in control of your inventory. It allows you to manage your dental supplies more proactively and provides insight into spending trends, thus giving you the ability to budget your spending and avoid last minute (often costly) purchases.
